An angry woman torched a house belonging to her husband’s 'mpango wa kando' on Tuesday in Manga.
Phanice Moraa said she has warned the widowed woman, Jane Kerubo to stop sleeping with her husband, Lawrence Moenga but in vain.
“I have always warned her to stop sleeping with my husband but she could not listen. I torched her house since it is the same house where she has been sleeping with my husband who has become irresponsible,” said Phanice.
Area assistant chief, James Oyondi condemned the incident and said the Moraa has since gone into hiding after she set the house on fire.
“Nothing was salvaged from the house since Moraa set it on fire while Kerubo was away. Married men should remain faithful to their wives to avoid such incidents from happening in the area,” he said.
Oyondi called on widowed women to stop accepting married men who have abandoned their wives for them.
He said Moenga should be held accountable for the losses caused by his wife and ensure he build a new house Kerubo who is now homeless.
