A 25-year -old college boy is languishing in a Ugandan jail after an attempt to seduce an MP, twice his age, reports the Standard.
Brian Isiko, commenced his 2-year sentence on Thursday after being found guilty by resident Magistrate Gladys Kasamunyu.
His obsession with Sylvia Rwabwoogo, MP for Kabarole District, is said to have started last year November.
"I love you so much and I want to protect you. My love is for you alone since there is no one taking care of you," read one of Brain's text submitted as exhibit in court.
And the text is said to have provoked the MP who reported the matter to parliament security an secured armed security.
Determined to nail the poor boy, Sylvia agreed to meet him at a petrol station along Jinga Road. Brian would later show up armed with college ID for identification.
Armed security personnel pounced on him and took him to police custody before presenting in in court where he was convicted of 'disturbance'.
So similar is his case with Kenya's Wazir Chacha, a 25-year-old man who is also suspected to have lured several female MPs for intimate relationship before being arrested by authorities.
