Despite heavy rains in South Nyanza region, hundreds of mourners gathered at Mr. Douglas Otieno's home as the body of Ms. Otieno arrived home from Rachuonyo Level Four hospital.

But Mrs. Melida Auma, dragged herself down the ground wailing uncontrollably and for some hours, she was in a sorry state thus causing panic.

Earlier, she condemned killers of her daughter as she walked from one end to another of her compound on Magare village.

Locals later on managed to help her regain as visitors trickled in the small compound to view the body of Ms. Otieno, who was brutally murdered in September.

Her father Douglas Otieno said: "This is heavy for us. We will bury our daughter, but nothing will make us forget this pain. Every time I view her body and see what her killers did, it angers me. They were merciless."

"We are convinced that justice will prevail. It hasn't been easy for us but God will always have his way," he added.

Family lawyer Opondo Kaluma, whpmalso doubles as area MP had earlier objected to Sharon's burial, insisting that he wanted justice to prevail first.

Migori Governor Okoth Obado and his aides Michael Oyamo and Caspal Obiero have already been charged with murder but pleaded not guilty.
