Just like everybody else who has new resolution every year, the Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen had various resolutions to accomplish within the year.
As people were happy ushering in the New Year, Murkomen was busy making up his resolutions. He took to his social media platforms to share with his fans his 2019 resolutions.
“Apart from my doctoral studies, I hope I can read 12 books and publish 3 Journal Articles. So help me God!” he wrote at the beginning of the year on his twitter account.
So far, the Majority Leader of the Senate has already read five books out of the 12 he said.
On Friday, he took to twitter to reveal the book he will start reading this new month. Murkomen will be reading Flame of Freedom by Sarah Elderkin.
The book takes a deeper look on how the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga has struggled to fight corruption and bring freedom in the country.
Taking to his twitter account, Murkomen revealed that he will start the month with this book and not Miguna mask, as he wants to know more about how his fellow politicians including Msambweni Member of Parliament Suleiman Dori and Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa are struggling with their political journey.
“Let me start the month with this one. Miguna’s mask can wait. I need to know the Flame of Freedom behind such matters as expulsion of my colleagues Aisha and Dori!” wrote Murkomen on twitter.
