President Uhuru Kenyatta has announced new appointments to state bodies.

On Wednesday, Kenyatta nominated former Kenya Power CEO Ben Chumo to replace Sarah Serem as the chair of Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) chairman.

Others nominated were politician Florence Kajuju, Washington Opiyo and Lucy Ndungu for appointment as members to the Commission on Administrative Justice (CAJ).

The new nominees will be vetted by the National Assembly before taking up their new jobs.
