As many people were celebrating valentine's day on Thursday, the whole celebration went sour to a man in Nyangusi village when his woman and his mistress fought relentlessly.
The man by the name Wilson Nyarangi had left his wife at home to go out to celebrate with his mistress.
They had enjoyed themselves and it was the time they were coming back home. Unfortunately, they met his wife who was so annoyed and out of anger, started beating the hell out of the man's mistress.
She jumped on the man's mpango wa kando, who seemed to be in her early 20’s. The man stared helplessly with his face immersed in total shame.
“This man is my husband and he went out in the morning without even feeding the cattle. He never said anything in as much as I wanted to know where he was going. Someone called and told me that he saw him with a young lady in a club in Kisii town enjoying,” his angry wife said.
The mistress was left almost naked as her blouse was torn. A sympathizer gave her a ‘shuka’ which she wrapped herself.
People condemned the incident and said it was wrong to leave a wife at home and go out to enjoy with other young ladies.
"This is very wrong! The money he is wasting on feeding this young lady should have been used to buy his wife a better cloth than ‘this thing’ she is wearing,” Janet Mogoa an elderly mother who witnessed the whole incident said.
