Stacie Ruto, a Computer Science student felt that the incident was so horrific that it has installed fear adding that relationships are no longer safe and Ivy did not deserve to die.

“Ivy’s murder makes me feel unsafe as a woman. I am terrified and every time a man passes by I feel uneasy. Relationships are not safe spaces anymore, not even with the guy who swears to die for me. She did not deserve to die,” said Ruto.
