Kisauni MP Ali Mbogo has presented 143 scholarship forms to parents and guardians of 2018 KCPE students joining national schools drawn from Kisauni Constituency.

While presenting the forms, the lawmaker disclosed the move "is in line with my manifesto dubbed "Elimu Kwanza".

The initiative is geared towards motivating the students to continue working hard and make their dreams a reality.

Meanwhile Mbogo asked leaders to support self help groups to address different issues pertaining poverty reduction and improving their socio-economic situations.

 "These groups have been beneficial to members both socially and economically through their effectiveness in mobilising efforts and resources of poor people in the course of combating poverty," he said.
