The locals while speaking at Rigoma on Thursday evening protested over the impassable road during this season the region is receiving a heavy downpour.

"We call upon MP Mose to facilitate the upgrade of the road to ease transport since we elected him to serve us. Transport along the road has been paralysed during this heavy rainy season," Kevin Mokaya a bodaboda rider noted.

Joseph Nyambunde said several bodaboda riders plying the route have been forced to park their motorbikes at home because the road is impassable.

"We have parked motorbikes because no one is ready to use motorbike means of transport on the impassable road. It is our hope that MP Mose will help us by ensuring the road is murramed to ease transportation," Nyambunde argued.

Jared Osoro stated that during the 2017 campaigns, MP Mose had promised to push for the tarmacking of the road something yet to happen.

"If Mose is unable to push for tarmacking of the road, let him murram the road to make it passable," Osoro opined.

The residents planted bananas at Nyangori area on Thursday protesting its poor state.
