In a tweet, Aukot said that he is celebrating Mashujaa Day with other Kenyans but also assured them that his proposals are still alive.

He noted that he will inform Kenyans of his next plans after he get views on the same.

He remained optimistic that the push for a referendum is unstoppable no matter the challenges he has faced while pushing for the agenda.

“On this #MashujaaDay2019, I wish all Kenyans #HappyMashujaaDay. I also want to reassure Kenyans that #PunguzaMizigoBill2019 is not out. We are back to the drawing board. Wait for the signal and be ready to walk the talk with us at @Thirdwaykenya @CpaWaweru @fokango,” he tweeted on Sunday.

Aukot has been faulting mainstream political parties including Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) and Jubilee for the woes that befell him.

He has specifically faulted ODM Leader Raila Amolo Odinga and Kirinyaga Governor for the failure of the proposals.

He alludes that the two leaders colluded with others to ensure that the Bill doesn’t the light at the end of the day.

He has promised to use other channels to fight for change since he lost the battle at the county assemblies.
