On Sunday, Ms Odinga delivered a keynote speech at St Stephens ACK church in Kisumu during the 25th anniversary of her grandfather Jaramogi Oginga Odinga who she described as a 'humble man'.

And according to the Nation, Rosemary walked with ease to the podium before being held by her cousin, Jaoko Oburu.

Earlier at the function, she was pictured scrolling and reading messages on her phone.

"Last year, we missed this annual church service because it was that day that Rosemary underwent major surgery in China. But it is through your (congregants) prayers that she was healed,” Ida said.

The news about her recovery were first confirmed by family spokesman Dr Oburu Oginga, who spoke before inviting his younger brother Raila Odinga at the event.

“As you know Rosemary was sick but we thank God she has now recovered fully,” said Dr Oginga

In 2017, Rosemary bolted out of Kibra Constituency race after undergoing brain tumour surgery in South Africa that left her partially blind, only depending on the blurred vision of her right eye.

In November 2018, while donating sewing machines at Raila Odinga Centre at Kibra, she confirmed the unfortunate tragedy that had almost threatened her life.

At the anniversary, Ms Odinga also walked without her dark glasses which are specifically meant for blind people, another clue of tremendous improvement of her health.
