Troubled Neno Evangelism Pastor James Maina Ng’ang’a has blamed the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), Director of Criminal Investigation (DCI) and the media for allegedly engineering his troubles.
The Neno preacher claims that the government is using the media to curtail his freedom to spread the gospel.
Speaking after he was granted bail in an alleged fraud case at Milimani Law Courts on Tuesday, Ng’ang’a vowed to overcome the troubles he is experiencing.
“I know the people who want me to stop me from preaching the Gospel and want to tell them that they will not succeed because it is only God who can stop me,” he said.
The controversial preacher stated d he is going through tough times but promised to remain faithful to his 'calling'.
On Tuesday, the embattled preacher pleaded not guilty to a charge of conspiring to defraud a businessman Sh3.6 Million.
It is alleged that the preacher pretended that he was in a position to sale a residential home to the businessman.
Last month, pastor Ng’ang’a was arraigned in court and charged with allegedly threatening to kill Citizen TV journalist Linus Kaikai.
He pleaded o guilty to the charge and was set free on Sh200, 000 cash bail.
