Bodaboda riders operating in Nyamira County have been warned against having sex with the increased number of twilight girls in the region.
Nyamira County Traffic Police Commander Hassan Osman said riders should take caution when dealing with twilight girls.
“Riders should know what has brought them to roads. Twilight girls have increased in Nyamira and their intention is to have men to sleep with them with boda boda riders being the target.
"It is time riders should ignore prostitutes failure to which they will get sexually transmitted diseases such as HIV,” he said.
Osman said boda boda riders who have married should remain faithful to their wives.He called on parents to ensure girls don’t drop out of school to do prostitution in the region.
"Police officers are working day and night to ensure no school girl is operating as a prostitute especially at night.
"Parents must be responsible and ensure their daughters remain in school during school time,” he noted.
