Nyeri Town MP Ngunjiri Wambugu has said he not aware of alleged Jubilee legislators meeting this Sunday evening.
Earlier today, Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria took to social media and claimed that over 200 Jubilee Party MPs had confirmed they will be attending the meeting that is set to be held in Naivasha.
Kuria noted that the meeting will give them away forward concerning the Building Bridges Initiative (BBI).
"Gearing for the first official Jubilee Parliamentary Group Meeting since the release of the BBI report. The meeting that kicks off this evening in Naivasha will come up with the official Jubilee position on BBI scenarios to be presented to the Haji committee and also chart out a road map for our 2022 electoral victory. Over 200 MPs from Jubilee and other like-minded members have confirmed attendance," Moses Kuria had said.
However, Ngunjiri Wambugu has said he is not aware of the meeting. The MP who has been supporting President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM party leader Raila Odinga since their famous handshake told Kenyans.co.ke that maybe Kuria was planning just but another Tanga Tanga meeting.
He also expressed his doubts over the number of Jubilee MPs attending the meeting as alleged by Kuria.
"I have no idea (of the parliamentary meeting). It must be a Tanga Tanga outing, and if it is, I doubt they are anywhere near even half of 200," he asserted.
