In his message to wish Uhuru happy birthday, the activist said Kenyans were disappointed that the President has failed to tame graft since they had voted for him hoping he would succeed because he is a 'rich' man and, therefore, would not be tempted to steal.

"Your friends, unlike any other past corrupt regime, prefer stealing in billions. If you’re not a thief, you have 22 months before your term ends. You will go home whether you like it or not," Mwangi posted on facebook, Saturday.

The former Starehe MP aspirant also warned that the Head of State will be judged harshly by the history if he doesn't stop corruption and save his legacy.

He advised Uhuru to strengthen State agencies such as the National Intelligence Service (NIS), Military, Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC), Office of Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP), and others to help him in fighting graft by supporting officers heading those institutions.

The activist also called for giving amnesty to corrupt government officials as another method of trying to slay the dragon of embezzlement of public funds and resources.

"Maybe you should just announce an amnesty, anyone involved in corruption to resign from public office, return what they stole and be banned from ever running for public office. Just do something, prove you’re not as hopeless and useless as Kenyans have come to perceive you," Mwangi noted in part of his post.
