Lawyer Ahmednasir Abdullahi has spilt the beans on President Kenyatta's alleged differences with one of the Supreme Court judges who, in April this year, was appointed a member of the Judicial Service Commission (JSC).
In a social media statement on Saturday, the fiery lawyer revealed that the President's decision not to Gazette Judge Mohammed Warsame was very personal and not founded on any grudge.
"I don't think H.E UHURU and Justice Mohamed Warsame of the Court of Appeal know one another...and I am certain there isn't any personal beef or grudge between the two...but the willful refusal by Uhuru to Gazette Warsame as a member of JSC since April is very very very personal," revealed Ahmednassir.
Since his appointment in April this year, President Kenyatta is yet to gazette the Supreme Court judge into the JSC bench.
This decision alone has since seen the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) head to the court challenging the president's decision to lock Judge Warsame out of JSC.
This happens even as three other JSC members who were appointed together with Mohammed Warsame took their oaths of office on Wednesday in a function presided over by Attorney General Kihara Kariuki.
The new JSC members sworn in include former clerk to the National Assembly Patrick Gichohi, former Cabinet Secretary Felix Koskei, and Olive Mugenda, the former Kenyatta University Vice-Chancellor.#hivisasaoriginal
