A Member of the Nairobi County Assembly has raised concern over what he describes as Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko's undying love for women.
Peter Imwatok who represents Makongeni Ward in the County Assembly on Thursday said the governor should come out and clarify why most of his support is directed to women.
Imwatok who is among MCAs critical Sonko's leadership style said the county chief's love for the ladies can be illustrated through his unending assistance to women especially those who fail to foot hospital bills in various city hospitals.
The MCA was speaking at a local radio station on Thursday as he responded to claims by Sonko that he was among Nairobi County leaders who facilitated the theft of public funds at City Hall when Dr Evans Kidero was governor.
"Sonko should tell us why he is obsessed with out mothers," he said during the interview.
"He has done nothing for the people of Nairobi. His leadership is full of public relations."
