Amani National Congress (ANC) leader Musalia Mudavadi has accused opposition chief Raila Odinga of pushing for the collapse of the National Super Alliance (NASA) coalition.
Mudavadi who spoke to the BBC World Service on Thursday said Raila's recent political undertakings do not mean well for Kenya's largest opposition coalition.
He said the opposition chief should come out clean and clarify his intentions within the coalition accusing the former prime minister of being insincere and untrustworthy.
"He should endeavor to be trustworthy to other principals," Mudavadi said.
"During the swearing in at Uhuru Park, the agreement was clear that we do not attend the event because it was illegal. He secretly went to Uhuru Park and he was sworn in."
Making reference to the recent handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and the opposition leader, Mudavadi, said Raila's decision to secretly meet Uhuru only shows how he loves conducting his political affairs secretly.
Raila met Uhuru without the knowledge of other NASA co-principals.
NASA has been under pressure to solidify its base with other leaders calling for its disbandment.
Among those calling for the coalition's dissolution is embattled Bungoma Senator Moses Wetangula who was recently ousted out as Senate Minority Leader.
