In a series of tweets Friday, the controversial barrister claimed that both President Uhuru Kenyatta and opposition leader Raila Odinga are aware of his presidential plans.

He termed the same as the reason behind his woes earlier this year, including his excilement to Canada, claiming that the duo has conspired to trample on the dream.

Miguna, who was arrested and deported in February in relation to Raila’s January 30 mock presidential inauguration, alleged that the actual plan was to take him away secretly, before word broke out that he had been arrested, adding that the two have now vowed to keep him away for the longest time possible.

‘’They intended to keep me away from Kenya as long as possible to claim falsely that I'm not a Kenyan so that I cannot vie for the presidency, to dilute my popularity in my absence using the media and their surrogates and to limit my access to the media,’’ he said in one of the tweets.

The former Odinga ally and aide vied for the Nairobi gubernatorial seat on an independent ticket in the previous poll.

The race was, however, won by current Governor Mike Sonko.

He has never disclosed his plans for the top seat before.
