A woman in Omokoma village, Boikanga ward in South Mugirango, has a reason to smile after area MP Sylvanus Osoro donated 35 iron sheets for the construction her new house.
Emily Dennis was abandoned by her husband one year ago after wild family wrangles.
Speaking at her home on Wednesday while her new house was being constructed, she said she has been living in a deplorable state for long with my kids without receiving any help.
"My husband left home early one morning in search of the day's meal for me and our three kids. Since then he has never returned home. No one knows the whereabouts of him," she said.
She said the MP through Osoro Foundation bought 35 iron sheets for her to build a new house.
"My three kids and I will have a comfortable life now. Let the MP continue helping the people of South Mugirango and may he be blessed," she stated.
"The 35 iron sheets will help Emily have a new home. I will also ensure her kids goes to the best schools through the Osoro Foundation. Service to humanity is service to God," said the lawmaker.
