On Saturday, the Francis Oduor-led charges defeated Fortune Sacco 3-1 away from home to keep the promotion fire burning.

Only two games remain before the 2018/2019 NSL season curtains come down, with All Stars set to face Kakamega High School’s Green Commandoes at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu on Wednesday, before ending the season with a tie against former KPL side Thika United away this coming weekend.

The Blue Eagles need to collect maximum points from the two matches, in order to be assured of a KPL spot.

The team is second on the NSL table with 74 points after 36 matches, level with third placed Nairobi Stima which has an inferior goal difference.

Wazito FC will play against FC Talanta and St. Joseph’s Youth, while Nairobi Stima will play against Shabana FC and Eldoret Youth in the last two fixtures.

Wazito FC leads the standings with 75 points. Kisumu All Stars opponents, Green Commandoes and Thika United are 18th and 19th on the table respectively.

The first two sides will get an automatic KPL spot while the third placed team will play against John Kamau’s Posta Rangers in two-legged play-offs for a final KPL slot.
