Deputy President William Ruto has dismissed ODM party leader Raila Odinga's plans to vie for Presidency in 2022 saying he can't fear him.
Speaking at Nyamonyo area in Bomachoge Chache Sub County, Ruto said he is ready to face his political rivals in the ballot.
"I don't fear anyone including the former Prime Minister. It is Kenyans who will decide who will become President in 2022 and not an individual. In fact, I only fear God, the Creator," he said.
Ruto said he is focused on the country's development and not divisive politics.
"As you can see I am not desperate like my rivals. I am committed to helping my boss serve Kenyans better. I don't have time to engage people who are desperate and only interested in propaganda and tarnishing people's names around," he noted.
The Deputy President urged Gusii leaders to concentrate in serving the people who elected them and shun worshipping their party leaders.
"People deserve better service delivery and not politics based on political parties. I am challenging politicians especially those in office to ensure they are serving the people well," he added.
