"All county governments from Nyanza should be allowed to have time with Obama given that he is a global icon thus important for our economy," said Charles Geni, branch Secretary General.
A part from the ODM party, Luo Council of Elders have also requested Auma to incorporate them in the function to make a formal plea to Obama.
In Homa Bay, a section of residents have also backed inclusion of county governments in the programme which is said to be tight.
