Unknown to many, NIS jobs are one of the most paying jobs in Kenya; right from the certificate holders to graduates.

The certificate holders who join NIS are entitled to a basic salary of about Sh50,000, with the amount likely to shoot depending on the experience an employee will gain.

However, when a certificate holder does an upgrade of his or her studies to reach a diploma or degree level, their salary scale also changes.

NIS pays about Sh80,000 for diploma holders and Sh130,000 for bachelor's degree graduates.

Joining NIS is quite easy considering they recruit up to the certificate holders.

Available vacancies are usually posted in different Kenyan newspapers.

Those who apply should be between the age of 22 and 31 years and must possess the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) with at least C+ mean grade.

It’s also vital that you don’t bear any criminal record when applying.

Only Kenyan nationals who are physically fit are considered for this lucrative job.

NIS employs graduates from different fields due to the different range of activities they are involved in.
