After Prophet Owuor was through with his crusade, he bid the church’s faithful and told them: “Let me go, the President of the Republic of Kenya has sent me a helicopter.”

Multiple interviews have, however, revealed that the Mighty Prophet was lying or just name-dropping the President for reasons only known to him.

State House Spokesperson Kanze Dena told Citizentv.co.ke that no chopper was sent from the seat of power.

“I am not aware of any such meeting (between President Kenyatta and Owuor). And none (chopper) was sent out,” Kanze said.

Kanze’s position was corroborated by Pro Flight Limited proprietor, owners of the chopper Owuor used, Captain Neepe who told the news site that the chopper was hired by an ordinary Kenyan which is contrary to state’s transaction.

“This one was not State House. With State House normally there are protocols, we get requests from procurement. In this case it was just an individual who called two to three days prior and paid,” Captain Neepe said.

He also said that the man paid for the chopper on cash.

Popular blogger Robert Alai claimed the preacher was using the name-dropping the President's name to brainwash his followers that even the President of the Republic of Kenya follows him.

The preacher caused a scene in Nakuru town on Friday, December 28 when he entered the town in a convoy of high-end cars as well as nine police escorts.
