A wise man once said revenge is a meal best served cold. Well, a first-year student at Moi University decided to make good meaning of the proverb by preparing a meal for her ex-boyfriend using urine in an effort to avenge for a heartbreak he put her through.
According to the student who spoke on condition of anonymity, she decided to do the bizarre act after the ex-boyfired who is a fourth-year took advantage of her innocence before 'dumping' her for a third-year student.
"He had actually convinced me that we would have a serious relationship. He had everything I have ever wanted in a man but he left me almost immediately after breaking my virginity," the lady said.
The ex-boyfriend, a renown model at the Kesses-based university had told the lady that he was no longer interested in her as a lover while blatantly admitting that all he wanted was just friendship and not romance.
"I was so hurt after he told me that. I mean it was now obvious that all he wanted from me was sex," she said.
Out of pain from the heartbreak, the lady accepted the friendship hoping he will one-day payback for his 'sins'.
She on Sunday invited him for dinner where she prepared Ugali with meat. While preparing the meat, the lady said she added a little bit of urine knowing this might be the only way for her to get her revenge before going for a long holiday.
The boyfriend had just completed his final year.
Unfortunately for the lady, the ex-boyfriend at the last minute said he could not make it for the diner saying he had run into an emergency.
With the lady travelling home Monday, she will remain disappointed knowing that the planned revenge might never actualize.
