There was drama on Tuesday in Kiomoso village in Nyamira County after a man was busted in the act with a woman inside a bush.
Confirming the incident area assistant chief James Obare said Caleb Oturi was busted with Clair Moraa by a local, Vincent Mataya, who went to pick his goats from the bush.
"Oturi is married with three kids but he has been adulterous. His forty days reached when he was busted in the bush with Moraa who has never been married doing illicit sex," said Obare.
The chief said Mataya raised alarm after he spotted the two naked in the bush thinking they were livestock thieves.
"Scared Mataya raised alarm to attract members of the public who arrived immediately and apprehended the two. Oturi was frog-marched to his home naked and paraded before his wife," he added.
The administrator said Moraa was however, warned against sleeping with married men after a thorough beating by locals.
"Oturi will have to reconcile with his wife who threatened to abandon him with the kids. Men should be faithful in marriage," he stated.
