Controversial lawyer Miguna Miguna has blasted President Uhuru Kenyatta for allegedly "betraying" his deputy Dr William Ruto terming it the norm in the Kikuyu community.
In a Facebook post on Wednesday, Miguna said that "By betraying William Samoei Ruto Uhuru Kenyatta has entrenched the belief most Kenyans have that Kikuyu elites (I said ELITES) cannot be trusted to support other Kenyans."
While comparing Uhuru's action to that of his father, the late Mzee Jomo Kenyatta, the lawyer further added that Kikuyu elites would lie to get anything then shoot you in the back stating that it is exactly what Jomo Kenyatta and Mwai Kibaki did when they betrayed Moi and Raila respectively.
The Canadian-based Kenyan lawyer noted that for the country to truly heal and build a genuinely united, prosperous and just Kenya, Kenyans must stand up and remove the corrupt, tribalistic and barbaric elites from power, a move which will transform Kenyan institutions, structures and ethos.
The DP has been under attack and criticism from a section of Kenya leaders led by former Jubilee vice-chair David Murathe, Nominated MP Maina Kamanda, Nyeri town Mp Ngujiri WaMbugu among other leaders.
The leaders have vowed to do anything possible to oust the Deputy President from his position in order to block him from vying for the 2022 coveted seat.
