Don Bosco Gichana, a former chief campaigner for Raila Odinga, will be headed home on October 26th after five years absence, one of the organisers has revealed.
Upon his release from Arusha a fortnight ago, Bosco headed to Mombasa where he has been meeting friends and family.
And Mr. Frank Mirina, one of his organisers for homecoming, says the millionaire businessman will be received at Gusii stadium, which falls in his Kitutu Chache South constituency.
"Preparations are underway and we shall have him visiting home on October 26th. He will make stopovers at Keroka before arriving at the venue.
"We have already invited his friends and dignitaries and Raila Odinga along with William Ruto have been invited," he said.
Mr. Bosco commands a huge following among the youth across Kisii and Nyamira Counties and they played an instrumental role in his release.
He pleaded guilty to money laundering and fraud charges before being given five years sentence and an additional Sh15 million fine.
The Gusii stadium event is expected to attract thousands of locals with geopolitics expected to dominate.
