President Uhuru Kenyatta has jetted back into the country from his USA tour.

“Arrived back in the country after a successful visit to the US where I had fruitful engagements with President Donald Trump.” He wrote on his official Facebook page. 

President Kenyatta who arrived on Tuesday, August 28 night was received by various leaders including Deputy President William Ruto, Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko, Muranga Governor Mwangi Wa Iria and Interior and Coordination of National Government Dr Fred Matiang’I among other leaders.

President Kenyatta was in the U.S where he met President Donald Trump. 

Their meeting was aimed at renewing the partnership and cooperation between Kenya and the USA on various issues which include trade, investments and security. 

Uhuru’s arrival back into the country has caused mixed reactions among Kiambu residents.
