Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Director of Communication Philip Etale has fired shots at Malindi lawmaker Aisha Jumwa over her recent mode of politicking.
The fiery MP who appears to have crossed over from ODM to Deputy President William Ruto's side is famous for her waist political narrative, which is slowly becoming her slogan.
She has been using the narrative in her speeches and attacks on ODM, a habit Etale now wants her to stop and concentrate on better things, especially in her Kilifi county backyard.
In a tweet Sunday night, Etale decried the rising cases of early pregnancies in the county, and now wants Jumwa to help eradicate that by promoting girl child education.
He advised that its only that way that the former strong opposition leader Raila Odinga defender can secure her political future, and not through empty narratives.
Etale was speaking in relation to an alarming program on NTV demonstrating just how bad the situation is in the coastal county minutes earlier.
"Mama Aisha Jumwa, are you watching the story #TeensWithKids in Kilifi County on NTV? These are some of the things that can earn you points in politics if you started a campaign to promote girl child education rather than propagating utingishaji wa viuno (shaking waists)," he wrote.
Jumwa is yet to respond.
