There was drama on Tuesday evening at Bogeka village in Nyaribari Chache Constituency, Kisii County, after a woman caught her husband in their matrimonial bed with another woman.
Vane Kemunto, a mother of three, said she left her husband Chris Moseti at home and went to attend a funeral only to return abruptly to find him in bed naked with the other woman.
"I left him at home because he claimed he was unwell and went to attend a funeral ceremony 500 meters away from home. I was shocked to return home to find my 'sick' husband in our bed engaging in sexual activities with another woman," she said.
Kemunto, however, noted that she had never seen the other woman, adding that she escaped before she could punish her.
"The woman escaped through the back door after my husband shielded her when I tried to attack her," she noted.
Area chief Henry Nyang'au condemned the incident, noting that men should remain faithful to their spouses.
"Moseti married a hard working woman but he is busy chasing other women instead of him getting satisfied with his wife. We as elders won't help him reconcile with the wife," said Nyang'au.
