Makueni Governor Kivutha Kibwana claims that Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka is dishonest.
Kibwana said the former Vice President cannot be trusted for the presidency by anyone including his close allies.
He claimed that Kalonzo has been using Makueni County Assembly Members (MCAs) to frustrate his leadership since he took over the seat.
Kibwana blamed stalled projects in Makueni County on the 'hostile' MCAs.
“We had an agreement on how to select MCAs. Previously, I had a hostile group of MCAs. When we agreed on a way of doing it, it was not done. I have some even today who are causing problems,” he said.
Kibwana said Kalonzo has to change for the better if he wants to rise to power.
He said the Ukambani political kingpin has failed his people since he was given the leadership mantle.
Kibwana together with his counterparts Alfred Mutua (Machakos) and Charity Ngilu (Kitui) want Kalonzo to pave way for youthful leadership ahead of 2022 polls.
The three governors have caused a storm in Ukambani since they formed an economic block in the region.
Kalonzo's allies have since faulted the governors for fighting him.
