Exiled self proclaimed NRG General Miguna Miguna now claims Jubilee vice chair David Murathe is under instructions from President Uhuru Kenyatta to undermine Deputy President William Ruto.
In yet another jibe on Ruto, Murathe on Saturday threatened to move to Supreme Court to block Ruto on pretext that he has served in presidency for two terms.
"That office is joint. He must retire or we can even move to Supreme Court to seek advisory opinion on his fate. He has served two terms like President Uhuru Kenyatta," he said.
The high ranking Jubilee party official who is also a close ally of President Uhuru Kenyatta has intensified onslaught against Ruto further causing discomfort within Jubilee.
And Miguna, a critic of the handshake politics the the Jubilee regime now says Ruto has a right to contest in all elections without manipulation and blackmail.
"We may not like @WilliamsRuto but he has a right to pursue his political ambitions legally without Kenyans being suffocated by @UKenyatta's cow-dung called David Murathe. The Supreme Court allowed ICC-indictees @UKenyatta and @WilliamsRuto to vie in 2013." https://twitter.com/MigunaMiguna/status/1081635722107465728?s=19
Earlier last week, Ruto insisted that he's in Jubilee party to stay, adding that he was ready to go to party primaries with any interested party in 2022.
The DP is fighting internal squabbles within the ruling party with his partner, President Uhuru Kenyatta keeping mum in as many months.
