Police in Molo, Nakuru, have arrested a Form One student who caused a scene as he attacked his mother with a panga.

The boy, described by neighbours as troublesome, took a panga and slashed his mother on the forehead.

Police were called and apprehended the 15-year-old.

The injured mother said trouble started when she confronted the boy on why he has not gone to school.

The boy said he had decided to drop out of school which led to a confrontation.
