Kisumu Governor Prof. Anyang' Nyong'o alongside Joe Ager and other county officials on Saturday attended the funeral ceremony of Earnest Ondu Orwa in Kisumu West Constituency to pay their last tributes to the fallen hero.
The Governor said that Jaduong' Ernest Ondu will live to be remembered for his great contribution to the ODM party and described Ernest as a very dedicated and a selfless leader.
The late Orwa who was the most vocal Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party Chairperson to have ever hailed from the constituency was painted as a great man who made a big contribution to the party's continued existence.
After the tribute, Nyongo then proceeded to receive the party leader Raila Odinga at the Grand Royal Swiss Hotel in Kisumu ahead of the 25th death anniversary of the nation's founding father and his dad Jaramogi Oginga Odinga.
