The Director of Public Prosecutions Noordin Haji has assured that he is ready to die while fighting corruption.
Haji speaking on Sunday night during an interview at KTN television said his office is committed to fight corruption in this country.
"I am ready to die defending Kenyans in the fight against graft. Nobody is going to succeed in stopping me from fighting the corruption menace," he said.
The DPP revealed that his life has been threatened but, that can't make him to succumb.
"I have been threatened several times since I was appointed to serve as the DPP but, the cheap threats can't stop me from delivering to Kenyans. Cartels engaging in corruption must stop before the law catches up with them," he said.
Haji warned politicians against politicizing the graft war.
He maintained that public funds which have been stolen by state officials must be recovered and offenders sent to jail.
"State officers who have stolen public money must return the money to be used to fund development projects," he added.
He urged Kenyans not to shy away from reporting their leaders engaging in corruption.
