ANC leader leaders Musalia Mudavadi pointed accusing fingers to deputy president frequent visit to western region as a stumbling block in his bid to unite Luyha voting bock to propel him to presidency.
“What Ruto is doing is dividing the region by picking MPs, giving them money and pretending to launch development projects in their areas to scuttle the Luhya unity so that the community does not put votes in one basket,” Mudavadi said as quoted by Nation digital.
He farther said that Ruto is in premature campaigning trail in the pretext of launching projects that are not factored into the national government projects just to endear himself to the people, scuttling Luyha unity that will not enable to vote into one basket.
“Let the DP desist from playing divisive politics with the people of western region. It is wrong for him to lie to Kenyans in the name of launching projects when in real sense it is mere public relations,” Mudavadi said while in Butere attending Tindi Mwale Tournament.
Mudavadi’s claims have come in the backdrop of Dp William Ruto’s frequent visit to the western especially ANC leader backyard Vihiga County where he launched tarmacking of Ekwanda-Lwanda-Mwichio –Esiru road, Commissioned Iguhu Medical Training and the latest attended Idaho Festival for a bullfight contest in Malinya stadium.
