For the better part of Monday evening, it was joy and dances at Nyakembene Secondary School in Boikanga ward, South Mugirango constituency.
This was after the area MP Sylvanus Osoro officially opened a boys' dormitory at the institution.
The dormitory was built by the area NG-CDF.
Addressing residents, Osoro maintained his commitment to ensure there are favourable learning conditions for the students across the constituency.
"Under my leadership, I will do every thing possible to ensure South Mugirango students get access to proper education because it is through education that we will get future doctors, police officers, teachers, nurses among other professionals," stated Osoro.

The lawmaker further stated that he has special interest with the boy child and is working towards ensuring that the rate of drop out in schools due to unfavourable learning environment is addressed.
"The boy child must have peace of mind for the purposes of focusing on their dreams. I urge parents not to be lenient on the boy child especially in matters education. No male child should be allowed to drop out of school to venture into bodaboda businesses," Osoro noted.
He protested the increased number of male students dropping out of school while in Form Two and Three saying local authorities should be on high alert to handle such matters.
