Speaking on Saturday during a funds drive in Sinaga Girls Secondary School in Siaya County, Orengo said that Ruto has no choice but to support President Uhuru Kenyatta.

The vocal senator reminded Ruto that he is a herdsboy and Uhuru is a herdsman.

Orengo also said that it is unfortunate that leaders in Ruto’s camp have been throwing tantrums at the president yet he is fighting to change this nation before he completes his second and final term in office

“Ruto must work with the President. He must assist him not purport to be in charge,” he said in part, as quoted by Standard.

Orengo also noted that it is evident that something is wrong in the government following the grilling of Treasury Cabinet Secretary Henry Rotich following the alleged loss of Sh. 21 billion in a dam’s project.

The revelation of the alleged misuse of public fund has widened the rift between Ruto and Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) Leader Raila Odinga.

The leaders in Ruto’s camp believe that the fight to end the vice is ill-aimed
