Narc party leader Martha Karua has now come out to give her views after a video of Nairobi County Governor Mike Sonko was heard bashing on the Nairobi County Women Rep Esther Passaris for picking his calls whenever she feels like.
Taking to her twitter account, the former Gichugu Member of Parliament, said that the flamboyant city boss, Mike Sonko, was disrespectful not only to his women rep but to all women in the country.
“Has only learnt about it today. Disrespectful and unethical response by Mike Sonko not just to Esther Passaris but to women and Kenyans of goodwill,” she said.
She was responding to a twitter user by the name of Dr Andrew Suleh MD who had tagged her in his tweet asking if she saw what Esther Passaris did during the Madaraka Day celebrations at Pumwani Grounds in Nairobi.
“My sister Martha Karua did you see your younger sister Esther Passaris refusing to board yesterday #MadarakaDay,” said Dr Andrew Suleh MD.
Esther Passaris walked out of the celebrations when Mike Sonko was addressing people while bashing on her. On her way out, people jeered her, while Sonko gave her a sarcastic goodbye.
This is not the first time the two are falling out with each other, as previously she had brushed shoulders over some misunderstandings in the county.
