Speaking on Milele FM’s ‘Kivumbi’ Wednesday morning, Khalwale who lost to Governor Wycliffe Oparanya claimed that he was somehow rigged out.

He said that all indications hinted at his win, claiming that he swept across all the Nothern 7 constituencies of the county against Oparanya’s 5 in the lower end.

Khalwale claimed that the governor was most likely favoured, terming him ‘Kifaranga Cha Computer’ a product of electoral malpractice.

‘’I beat him in the majority of the constituencies but never knew I was contesting in a computerized race,’’ said the vocal leader.

Khalwale, however, noted that he has since accepted defeat in the hands of the county chief who also doubles up as the Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) deputy party leader.

He said that moving to court would have been pointless.

‘’I accepted defeat as going to court would have been a waste of time,’’ he added.

Oparanya carried the day after garnering 387, 999 votes against Khalwale's 134, 999.
