Scientifically, women are said to have their periods for about 450 times in their lifetime.
During this time, women act differently based on their belief on what they are supposed to do and what they are not supposed to do.
However, a good number of these beliefs you happen to be just a myth, as there is nothing that can affect them when they arrive to do them.
Here are some of the things that most women facing their menstruation believed but turned out to be just a myth.
1. You are not supposed to take a hot shower
While women are facing their periods, most of them used to avoid hot shower thinking that hot shower might influence excess bleeding. Although, that was just a myth, as a hot shower can never interfere with the magnitude of the menstruation.
2. A stiff drink can affect your menstrual cycle
Other women would most probably avoid strong drinks while nearing their menstrual time, in fear that strong drink might alter their menstrual cycle. Nevertheless, in reality, having a moderate, strong drink can never change anything, and that is a fear that any woman should stop having.
3. It is impossible to get pregnant during your period
Many believe that it is hard to get pregnant while having their period, which is something that they should not be 100% about it. Even though the fertility rate during this time is usually low, the sperm can maintain its fertility ability in a woman’s body for about five days, which as a result might result to one getting pregnant.
