Former Nairobi gubernatorial candidate Miguna Miguna on Sunday spared no courtesies with President Uhuru Kenyatta while replying to a social media post in which the Head of State mourned the death of the mother of former Head of Civil Service Francis Muthaura.
In a tweet, Uhuru sent his condolences to Muthaura's family describing Mama Salome Kinya Muthaura as a devoted Christian who was a strong pillar for her church and community.
"My deepest condolences to Amb. Francis Muthaura following the death of his mother, Mama Salome Kinya Muthaura. Mama Kinya was a devoted Christian & will be remembered for the roles she played in Church & the community. Her wise counsel, guidance & leadership will be missed by many," Uhuru mourned.
But the post attracted a brutal reply from Miguna who accused the President of failing to mourn the death of Carilton David Maina whom he alleged was killed by "Uhuru's goons" last week in Kibera.
Maina, a student at Leeds University, UK, was shot dead by police who claim he was part of notorious criminals who have been terrorising residents in the populated slum.
The deported lawyer further noted the Jubilee party leader will "face justice" for allegedly murdering hundreds of civilians during the heated 2017 elections who include for IEBC ICT boss Chris Msando and Baby Samantha Pendo.
"Francis Muthaura is over 87 years' old. His mother must be over 100 years' old. She lived a full life. Not like the young man, Maina, whose life was cut short by one of your goons in Kibera, the same way you murdered Msando, Baby Pendo and hundreds more. You will face justice!" Miguna posted.
