Ibrahim Mchuma who is the area OCPD says the boy named Peter Ng'ang'a Waithira was watching World Cup replay matches when his 14-year-old cousin directed him to change the channel before an argument began.

The police chief said the late was a pupil at Kigumo Township Academy and was living with her single mother and his younger brother.

Mchuma said the whole circus started when the boy who also lives with his other members of the extended family wanted to continue watching the World Cup replays but his cousin is said to have ordered that he changes the channel because he wanted to watch a different program.

"The boy got angry when the cousin switched the TV channel. He walked away only to be found dead moments later," the OCPD said as quoted by Radio Jambo.

The deceased is claimed to have walked out of the house saying he would do something his cousin will live to regret.

His body was found dangling on a tree in the compound at the edge of the fence.

Police took his body to the Kigumo Hospital Mortuary.

Mchuma appealed to parents to take time and talk to their children to use better ways of solving problems.
