Majority Leader in the National Assembly Aden Duale has spoken of schools registering dismal performance in national exams.
In a tweet on Saturday, he said there are measures in place to curb such performance of schools registering a mean grade of 3.0.
"We cannot watch when schools are having a mean grade of 3.0...We both consented together with the Ministry and the Teachers Service Commission officials both at the National and County level in our last night meeting that it will not be business as usual."
He added that "No other investment yields as great return as the investment in education. An educated workforce is the foundation of every community and the future of every economy."
Duale thanked schools for the high level of examination integrity in the last exams where cheating incidents were not reported.
