Garissa Township Member of Parliament Aden Duale took to Twitter Monday evening to mourn the death of his sister after she lost a long battle with cancer.
The message revealed the depth of the outspoken Jubilee MP's pain.
He called on God to save her sister from the trial of the grave and have mercy on her.
"O Allah, surely Arfon Bare Duale is under Your protection, & in the rope of Your security, so save her from the trial of the grave and from the punishment of the Fire. You fulfil promises & grant rights, so forgive her & have mercy on her. Surely You are Most Forgiving & Merciful," Duale tweeted.
Scores of Kenyans did not know that the legislator has a sister.
