Controversial former US President Barack Obama's half-brother Malik has explained why he did not attend the launch of Sauti Kuu Institute.
According to Malik, the event was for two people only Barack Obama and Auma Obama.
"Rita Auma is not the Obama family. It was her and her brother's affair. Did you see me there? No. You only saw Auma and Mama Sarah. No further comments," he said in an interview with Nation.
Malik has been feuding with Obama for the last two years after he supported the Republican candidate, Donald Trump.
He accused President Obama of ignoring his Kenyan family and the African continent after he was elected.
He did not comment on the Sauti Kuu Institute that is the brainchild of Auma and Obama.
Obama arrived in the country on Sunday where he held talks with President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
Speaking in Siaya on Monday, Obama said that the country was heading in the right direction following the March 9 handshake between Uhuru and Raila.
