Ever wondered why you feel nauseous most of the time? It is not a normal condition. Several factors have been linked to it
Here are the reasons why you feel nauseous
1. It might be a migraine
Migraines can make someone to feel like spewing. Experts don't understand how migraine contribute to nausea but what they know is that it can causes dizziness and blurry vision which in turn make someone feel nauseous.
It is always advisable to have OTC painkillers if you have an impending migraine to prevent it, notes Kristine Arthur, M.D., an internist at Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center in Fountain Valley, California.
If the drug doesn't work, then seek medical attention. The doctor will probably prescribe you the most effective med that can help you beat the condition.
Importantly, have enough water because nausea and headaches are caused by dehydration.
2. It might be an ear infection
An ear infection can also cause nausea. The inner ear canals play a cardinal role to ensure that there is balance. However, an infection can affect normal fluids in one ear and alter the pressure that maintains balance.
When the pressure has changed in one's ear, the brain gets a signal that the pressure in the affected ear is different than the pressure in the other ear which leads to dizziness and nausea.
“Typically, an ear infection causes ear pain, a feeling of pressure in the ear, changes in hearing, nasal congestion, headache, and fever,” Dr. Arthur says.
3. It might be your medication
Some drugs cause nausea as a side effect. If nausea persists, it would be a good idea if you see a doctor and explain to them what you are experiencing.
