Taking to his Twitter page on Wednesday evening, the self-declared General of the outlawed National Resistance Movement (NRM) said that if the leaders would have utilized resources for the benefit of all Kenyans, such situation could have been averted.

"If Kenya's "leaders" had utilized public resources for the benefit of all citizens regardless of their ethnicity or class, there would be no unemployment, homelessness, starvation or preventable deaths and certainly no PR stunts couched as," he posted.

His remarks follow the action of humanitarian assistance that was issued by the Nairobi County Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko in which he opted to help Kenyans in Turkana who has been starving without food and water.

The former Nairobi county gubernatorial aspirant empathized with the families that have been affected stating that the situation resulted from 'poor' leadership.

The country has been hit by drought and inadequate food for the past two weeks where 12 counties have adversely been affected and the most prevalent ones being Baringo and Turkana counties.
